This 1993 Tackla Slovakia jersey was worn during that year's IIHF European U18 Championships held in Riga, Latvia between March 22nd and March 28th 1993. The jersey shows evidence of light game wear and a nameplate which was removed. Slovakia cruised through the first round of the tournament beating Ukraine 5-2 and Bulgaria 39-0. In the final round, they tied Slovenia 3-3 and lost to gold medalists Belarus 4-1. This was the Slovaks IIHF debut at any level as the both the senior and U20 men's teams did not start competing until 1994.
