This jersey was worn by Israeli goalie Yevgeni Gusin at the 1993 IIHF World Championships Pool C tournament in Slovenia. Gusin played in three games and had an incredible 10.90 GAA (goals against average). In fairness to Yevgeni, the Israelis were matched up against powerhouses like Ukraine and Latvia due to IIHF regulations stating that new countries must start in the bottom Pool and win their way to Pool A. The Israelis went winless in 1993 and were relegated to Pool C2 for the 1994 IIHF World Championships.
