The second edition of the IIHF Women's World Championships took place in Tampere, Finland in April 1992. Canada won their second straight gold medal defeating the United States of America 8-0. In 5 games, assistant captain, Angela James scored 5 goals and added 2 assists securing a place on the tournament all-star team. In 2010, James was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Alongside long-time American rival Cammi Granato, they were the first ever women inductees into the HHOF. This 1992 Tackla Canada jersey has a pink hue to the red colour which Canada also wore at the 1990 Women's World Championship. It has normal game wear, puck marks, and James' signature on the bottom maple leaf on the chest. An extremely rare jersey belonging to, who most consider, the first superstar of modern women's hockey. This jersey was purchased from Classic Auctions in 2016.
