One of the rarest Tackla IIHF jerseys ever produced during 1987-1993 Tackla production era. This Tackla Belarus jersey was worn at the IIHF European U18 Pool C tournament which was held in Riga, Latvia from March 22nd until March 28th 1993. Belarus won both games in Round 1 beating Latvia 3-2 and Estonia 6-3. In the final round, the Belarussians tied Slovenia 3-3 and beat Slovakia 4-1 to claim gold. The Belarussian 'Pahonia' logo on the front of this jersey was worn on all hockey jersey until 1995 when then, and still current, President Alexander Lukashenko banned the emblem from being a state symbol of Belarus. This jersey was listed on eBay in 2014. The seller from Illinois, USA had gotten the jersey as a gift and brought it back with him to America after a trip to Belarus in 1994.
