At the 1991 IIHF World Championships in Yugoslavia, Japan lost all seven of their games and were relegated to Pool C at the 1992 World Championships. This Tackla Japan jersey was worn by Haga Tadashi who played the entire tournament without registering a point. The weight of the mesh and Tackla tags on the collar provide the proof that this jersey is from 1991 however it was repurposed for the 2000 World U18 tournament where Homare Saotome wore this #8.
