HC Vsetín is a six-time Czech champion from the turn of the 1990s and the new millennium, but in the summer of 2007 he was expelled from the extra league due to debts and non-compliance with licensing conditions. The Summer Tipsport Cup in 2007 was thus the last event for one era of Vsetín hockey.

The club entered the Summer Cup in a situation where it had already been eliminated from the league, but after the appeal, this decision was not final at the moment. In the tournament, they still played quite interesting players for Vsetín, such as Biegl, Andersons, J. Hruška, Stantien, Rob, Hrňa or Berzinš and others.

In the 2007/08 season, the club did not play any competition, later bought a license for the second league (third highest competition) from Blansko, and since 2008/09 it has been trying to advance among the domestic elite.

The whole jersey is made by sublimation technology.
