Set 1 was worn during the first half of the season which was the third one for Tlustý in Maple Leafs organization. This year was quite succesful for Tlustý as he got a point per game in AHL when he scored 66 points (25+41i) in 66 games of regular season and 3 points in 6 games of play offs. He was also called to the first team for 14 games in total but scored only 4 points for assists. During the upcoming season he was traded to Huricanes where he became a stable part of the first team.
