V rámci projektu Legenda pomáhá nastoupily kluby tří nejvyšších soutěží ve speciální edici dresů s podobiznou Ivana Hlinky. Ty následně putovaly do aukce, jejíž výtěžek byl předán Nadačnímu fondu Ivana Hlinky. Motor odehrál v tomto dresu 1. třetinu domácího zápasu proti Ústí nad Labem dne 28.01.2017 (46. kolo), ve kterém zvítězil 5:1. Dres byl připraven i pro Davida Gábu, ten však do zápasu nenastoupil (a to ani jako druhý brankář - Petru Kváčovi kryl záda Ondřej Bláha).

As part of the Legenda pomáhá ("Legend Helps") project, the clubs of the three highest competitions took part in a special edition of jerseys with a portrait of Ivan Hlinka. They then were sold in auction, the profit was donated to the Ivan Hlinka Endowment Fund. Motor played in this jersey the first period of the home match against Ústí nad Labem on 28 January 2017 (46th round), in which Motor won 5:1. The jersey was also prepared for David Gába, but he did not enter the match (not even as the second goalkeeper - Petr Kváča was covered by Ondřej Bláha).
