Wood came to Kladno from 2nd german league aka DEL2 but he became one of the best Kladno defenseman after a gradual start caused by the injury he had in summer. He finished the regular season as the most productive defenseman of the tam with 22 points (8+14) in 54 games and "beat" another canadian defenseman Jake Dotchin by 1 point. He also was the 4th in club productivity total as only 3 forwrds scored more points.
