ASD Dukla Jihlava 1992/93 - Leoš Pípa - game worn jersey #636    notforsale

upimages/051/6361992-93PIPA-red1.jpeg
1992/93 game worn FEVRA jersey issued for Dukla Jihlava. FEVRA was a Slovak company and produced very light weight jerseys. Not many of them survived. The material was so light that many of them had to be replaced during the season. Ads and nameplate are sewn on as is the Dukla Jihlava crest. JiDZ - Jihlavské dřevarské závody was one of the first sponsors along TCHIBO and OMV on a Dukla jersey. Remember, by 1992/93 Dukla Jihlava was still an army club - although it wasn't donated anymore with much money after the velvet revolution in 1989/90. JiDZ is ironed on - not sublimated. This season is particularly hard to find as these jerseys almost all disappeared or got thrown away. Leoš Pípa, a Jihlava native, born in 1971 played between 1990 and 2000 nine seasons for his local club Dukla Jihlava. He won one championship with Dukla and two others in Denmark and Latvia. Pípa called it a day in 2008 when he was still playing in Romania. Jersey is not for sale or trade. Feel free to contact me if you have anything to offer concerning Dukla Jihlava ice hockey club.
